Sciatica is a nerve pattern, not a muscle nickname
True sciatica is irritation of the lumbar nerve roots or the nerve as it leaves the spine - shooting pain, often past the knee, sometimes with weakness. Piriformis tightness can mimic it. We distinguish those on exam instead of stretching everything that hurts.
Algonquin Search Console queries already mention stenosis, neuropathy, and herniated disc on this domain. Those are not the same visit. We say which one we think we are treating.

No. Disc, stenosis, and local nerve entrapment can look similar. The exam is how we stop guessing.
